You can take a ferry to France and drive through France, Spain and then across Portugal, a lot of driving but if time is not a problem an enjoyable way of seeing Europe.
Ferry to Santander or Bilbao, at least a days drive or better still a stop over one night.
Fly to Faro we are approximately 40 minutes away.
Fly to Lisbon approximately 2 hours.
Fly to Seville approximately 2 hours.
