The cottages are located around a large lawned garden, and each have their own individual patio area.
There is large communal swimming pool, 18 metres x 9 metres, and there is also a children's paddling pool.
There is a large barbecue set in the grounds for plenty of al-fresco dining.
Just outside the complex is a Portuguese restaurant and bar, and there are plenty of typical Portuguese restaurants and bars within a short drive, where you can eat at a fraction of the prices of the main resorts.
There is table tennis to while away the afternoons and also a crazy golf course.
